The Blackhawks will host the Sharks on Thursday, Oct. 10 for their 2019-20 season home opener at the United Center, the team announced Friday. The game will mark the first time the Sharks will play at the United Center since Dec. 16, 2018, when Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford suffered his second concussion in less than a year that caused him to miss two months of action. The Blackhawks went 1-2 against the Sharks last season, with their lone win with Crawford in net for a 5-4 victory in March at San Jose.
