CINCINNATI — With just over a week remaining and the Mets still mathematically alive in the NL wild-card race, manager Mickey Callaway is considering every pitching scenario. And Friday he decided that flipping Steven Matz and Marcus Stroman in the rotation will give the Mets their best chance in Sunday's series finale against the Reds. The switch will allow a fly-ball pitcher (Matz) who has struggled on the road this season to avoid bandbox Great American Ball Park and let a ground-ball pitcher (Stroman) start instead.
