Luke EasterlingOct 19, 2019 Devante Bond, recently waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been suspended four games by the NFL due to a violation of the league's policy regarding performance-enhancing drugs. ESPN's Jenna Laine was the first to report the news, and also relayed a statement from Bond's Instagram account regarding his decision to accept the suspension and not appeal: Bond was waived earlier this week by the Bucs, after spending all of his three NFL seasons with the team. A sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft out of Oklahoma, Bond has been mostly a special-teams and depth player in Tampa Bay, making just six starts and appearing in 29 games over those three seasons.
