The Lions have gone just more than a year with a former rocket scientist as their coach, but Matt Patricia's affinity for experiments has already earned a reputation around the building. “I think you've heard it once or twice before but it's position flexibility, being able to play a bunch of different positions and all that is important," Matthew Stafford said with a smirk. After starting all 16 games at left guard in his rookie season, Ragnow was back working at center, which was the position the first-round pick last played at Arkansas.
