But when Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona pulled on the monochromatic attire associated with this year's Major League Baseball Players' Weekend, a different image crossed his mind. “What's the slogan? 'Let the kids play?' Francona asked while decked out in the same all-black pants worn by half of the teams in the league this weekend. “Let the grown-ups look like morons.” Regardless of Francona's misgivings, the all-white and all-black uniforms selected for this year's Players' Weekend games were intended to let the players colorful cleats, arm sleeves and accessories “pop”
