The Raiders are signing defensive end Kasim Edebali, a team source confirmed Tuesday. Edebali, 30, totaled eight sacks and 54 tackles in three seasons with the New Orleans Saints from 2014-16. He has appeared in just 14 games since the start of the 2017 season without a sack, though, shuttling between teams including the Broncos, Lions, Rams, Saints and Bengals. The Eagles signed Edebali in August but released him before the season. The Raiders are unsure if edge rusher Arden Key, who injured his knee in Week 5 against the Bears, will have recovered enough to play this weekend at Houston.
