Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions, preseason 2019: Mitch Morse won't play

The Buffalo Bills won't get to see center Mitch Morse in the “dress rehearsal” game of the 2019 NFL preseason, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Morse, who is still in the concussion protocol but practicing fully, has been ruled out of Friday night's game. Morse has been out since the first padded practice of training camp a few weeks ago. Also out Friday are TE Tyler Kroft (PUP, foot), CB Cam Lewis (concussion), P Cory Carter (knee soreness), and OT De'Ondre Wesley. Corey Bojorquez will get a full game to show why he should be the team's punter with Carter out. Tackle Ty Nsehke has been limited in practice this week and McDermott was non-committal about his prospects for playing Friday.
