The Yankees return from a 10-game road trip having gone 6-4, pretty representative of their season on the road this year. In the Bronx, the Yankees go into Tuesday night's game with 53-22 record. So, they are playing the rest of this season for home-field advantage as well. They entered play Tuesday with the same record — 98-53 — as the Astros. The Yankees took three out of four against the Astros in the Bronx back in June, but were swept in a three-game series in April at Houston. That means the Astros hold the tiebreaker for home-field advantage and the Yankees have to finish ahead of them to get the chance to play a possible AL Championship Series with the final game in the Bronx.
