What follows is a story that begins the last time the Bills won five of their first six games. That was on Oct. 19, 2008 — 11 years and one day ago — when the Bills beat the San Diego Chargers 23-14 in a game at Rich Stadium that was delayed because the electricity failed after three small helium balloons got tangled in power lines across the street.
