Last in a series Darren Fells' career renaissance at age 33 was an unexpected development for the Texans. A 6-7, 270-pound former European professional basketball player who didn't play college football, Fells outplayed his one-year, $1.5 million contract and caught a career-high seven touchdown passes. That ranked him third in the NFL among tight ends. He finished with a career-high 34 receptions for 341 yards. He also caught another touchdown in the playoffs for the AFC South champions and provided strong blocking.
