Mets To Officially Change Citi Field Address To '41 Seaver Way'

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- The New York Mets and the city will honor Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver by officially changing the address of Citi Field to 41 Seaver Way. Mets COO Jeff Wilpon, members of the 1969 Miracle Mets team including Jerry Koosman, Cleon Jones and Ron Swoboda will join Seaver's children and grandchildren for the renaming ceremony this Thursday. The event is open to the public. Nicknamed "Tom Teriffic," Seaver, widely considered the best Mets player in history, won three Cy Young awards while with the team and was voted into the Hall of Fame on his first ballot.
