EL SEGUNDO — Growing up just 10 minutes away from the home of the Lakers, Chimezie Metu could only wonder what it was like to play inside the walls of the team's practice facility. On Wednesday, he had a chance to find out for himself. “I've been a Laker fan my whole life,” said Metu, the former USC forward who was named to the All-Pac-12 first team as a junior. “Just being in here is crazy to me. … Today was a dream come true to come out here and work out.” Metu headlined the latest group of NBA hopefuls to work out for the Lakers in advance of the June 21 NBA draft “I'm probably going to have a lot more workouts,” said Metu, who will attend the NBA's pre-draft combine next week in Chicago,
