The Tampa Bay Rays fell again last night to the New York Yankees as their losing ways continued. The Rays have now lost six of their past eight games, and have fallen to 2.5 games back in the division chase. There weren't much positives in their loss last night, but I'll pick some out. Travis d'Arnaud led off and collected two hits, including a double. Tommy Pham was the only other Rays with a multi-hit day, and only other Rays with an extra base hit. Overall, the Rays collected nine hits on the night, but only managed three runs. On the mound, Ryne Stanek surrendered a run. Ryan Yabrough was great as he pitched three shutout innings.
