Believe it or not, the New York Mets are not technically out of the 2019 playoff chase just yet. At 79-73, they could still make it to as many as 89 wins, and as of writing this on Friday afternoon they sit 3.5 games back of the NL's second wild card spot. They would have to leapfrog both the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers to land such a coveted playoff spot, but the #math dictates it's still a possibility. On Friday, they'll have the Cincinnati Reds standing firmly in their way, however, and that's a club that's taken a liking to bustin' up playoff chances of late. The Reds, of course, are fresh off taking 2 of 3 from the Cubs, and that came on the heels of taking 2 of 3 from the Arizona
