If you are looking for an answer to the Rangers' winning streak - and the fact is this is a .500 team in June - it is right there. On Friday, they ran the streak to six games with a 8-1 win over Minnesota in which taking walks may have helped them get to Minnesota starter Fernando Romero and not issuing them may have helped keep Minnesota at bay. The Rangers took four walks Friday and are averaging five per game in June. They allowed two walks and are averaging 2.7 per game in June. Put those two numbers together and you've got a winning record: They are 6-4 this month when taking at least five walks and issuing three or fewer
