LAKELAND, Fla. -- In the midst of Daniel Norris' otherwise lackluster spring finale Sunday afternoon at Joker Marchant Stadium, something remarkable happened. The radar gun flashed 94 MPH after a Norris fastball. Then it happened again. Norris hasn't regularly been in the 93-94 mph range since 2017. “I haven't felt that in a very, very long time,” Norris said. "It's been creeping up all spring -- 92, 93 -- but getting those 93, 94s in a row hasn't happened in a long time. “It sounds so superficial, but it feels really good.
