CLEVELAND, Ohio -- It took a while, make that quite a while, but Bradley Zimmer reached his goal. At least part of it. Zimmer's goal was to rejoin the Indians at some point this year after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder in July of 2018. He made it back on Sept. 13 after a 5 1/2-month rehab process marked by setbacks and a variety of oblique injuries. “It wasn't a fun time at all,” said Zimmer, after his recall in September. “It's something I'll be better for when I look ahead in my career because going through what I went through -- what any guy who has been in rehab for an extended period of time knows is just how mentally grueling it is.
