Major League Baseball announced team representatives for the 2019 MLB Draft, and six-time All-Star Ron Cey and longtime scout Marty Lamb will be representing the Los Angeles Dodgers. Some of the other former players and managers that will be representing teams include Randy Johnson for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Ryne Sandberg for the Chicago Cubs, Lee Smith for the San Francisco Giants and Jack McKeon for the Washington Nationals. The Dodgers drafted Cey in the third round in 1968 out of Washington State. He made his Major League debut with the team in 1971 and went on to spend 12 seasons with the team, playing 17 overall.
