He has recorded seven receptions for 150 receiving yards and a touchdown thus far and looks to have a promising career going forward. Metcalf received an abundance of hype before the 2019 NFL draft due to his stature and physical attributes. His performance at the NFL combine only served to heighten his profile with a 4.33 40-yard dash, which was viewed as highly impressive for a 6-foot-4, 229-pound wide receiver. However, Metcalf also came with his fair share of concerns, primarily his route running, one of the most important traits of a wide receiver.
