For the third time this offseason the Chicago Bears have acquired offensive lineman Tommy Doles who was most recently with the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons released him and the Bears were awarded him via waivers. Originally an undrafted free agent from Northwestern, Doles signed with the Bears on May 5th after participating in their rookie mini-camp. He was waived about a week later, but then brought back to the team on May 16th, only to be waived again on May 31st when the Bears added veteran offensive lineman T.J. Clemmings. EDIT: Clemmings is done for the season. (link) With Clemmings leaving last night's game with a leg injury, the Bears are adding a player familiar with their offensive play
