SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – After chatting with other teams and agents for three days at the General Managers Meetings at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa, Reds front-office executives returned to Cincinnati with the groundwork laid for their offseason plans. The Reds have money to spend and a long checklist of where they could improve their roster. They are prioritizing offensive upgrades, and they plan to add some pitching depth through a starter and a bullpen arm or two. Last offseason, the Reds acquired players through trades. They are open to making major signings in free agency this year with interest in some of the top names like catcher Yasmani Grandal, shortstop Didi Gregorius and outfielders
