Lumberjacks cruise to triangular win past Park Rapids, LPGE

Jan. 30—LONG PRAIRIE — The Bemidji High School gymnastics team won the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle triangular on Monday night.

The Lumberjacks took home the top score at 136.475, beating out LPGE (114.025) and Park Rapids (111.45) in dominating fashion.

Aubrey DeWitt finished with the top all-around score at 34.75. She took first place on bars (8.6) and vault (9.15). DeWitt also took third on beam (8.5) and fourth on floor (8.5).

Taylor Hanks took second place in the all-around standings, finishing with a mark of 33.15. Hanks' best finishes were on floor (8.65) and vault (8.8), which were good enough for second place. She also took fourth on beam (7.8) and fourth on bars (7.9).

Aurora Frank tied for second on vault with Hanks with a score of 8.8. Chloe Workman took fourth at 8.7. Stella Schoonover took second on bars (8.15), while Kennedy Olson finished third (8.1).

Chesney Gladen claimed the top spot on beam at 8.7, followed by Olson in second place (8.575). Workman claimed the Jacks' fourth first-place finish in an individual event on floor with an 8.95. Olson took third at 8.6.
