LSU Tigers open as three score favorites over Central Michigan

Coming off the win against McNeese on Saturday, the LSU Tigers are set to host their second home game of the young season. Despite the win over the Cowboys, LSU failed to cover the spread for the second-straight game. Can they do it this week against Central Michigan?

The Chippewas are led by a coach familiar with LSU and the SEC. Jim McElwain, the former Florida head coach is in his third season with the team. He returns to Death Valley for the first time since 2016, McElwain’s second season in the Swamp. LSU lost that game 16-10. The Tigers won the previous season against him 35-28.
