LSU hosted top 2025 quarterback for a visit this past weekend

LSU had a jam-packed weekend of recruiting visitors for junior day.

Most of the recruits were members of the 2024 class, but a big 2025 name was there, too: Bryce Underwood, the top QB in the class.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound signal-caller traveled from Michigan. The visit went well, and the Underwood family told 247Sports that it felt like a second home. Underwood’s father told On3 he was impressed with LSU, saying the staff had a plan, something he hadn’t seen from other schools yet.

It’s still early and LSU’s just getting started with its 2024 class, but Underwood is as big-time as big-time gets.

Landing an elite QB is essential to competing for championships in this day and age, and you have to recruit them early. LSU already has Colin Hurley in the 2024 class. Following Hurley up with Underwood gives LSU a great shot at remaining in the national title discussion.
