LSU defeats Lady Vols for fifth conference loss

No. 13 LSU (24-4, 11-3 SEC) defeated Tennessee (16-10, 9-5 SEC), 75-60, Sunday at Food City Center,

The Tigers led, 38-27, at halftime and had 15 offensive rebounds during the first half. Tennessee missed 13 of its last 14 shots to end the first half.

Rickea Jackson totaled 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks for the Lady Vols. Tamari Key recorded 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks for Tennessee.

Tess Darby scored nine points, while Jasmine Powell added eight points, six rebounds and seven assists. Sara Puckett finished with seven points and 11 points for the Lady Vols.

LSU’s Hailey Van Lith led all scorers with 26 points. Angel Reese scored 11 points for LSU.
