'Lord have mercy': Gonzaga's Jalen Suggs gets shout-outs from Magic Johnson, James Worthy, others after game-winner

Some of the biggest names in sports were clearly stunned after "The Shot" on Saturday night in the Final Four's second game between No. 1 Gonzaga and No. 11 UCLA.

With a spot in the men's NCAA championship game on the line, Gonzaga freshman Jalen Suggs drained a pull-up jump shot from the midcourt logo at the buzzer, giving the Zags a hard-fought 93-90 overtime victory against the Bruins.

Magic Johnson, James Worthy and LeBron James were among many superstar athletes sharing their reactions on Twitter after Suggs sent the Zags to Monday night's championship game vs. Baylor.

Worthy, an NBA Hall of Famer and former Laker, echoed what many fans were likely thinking, writing "LORD HAVE MERCY" what a ending to the UCLAMBB vs. ZAGMBB overtime game #MarchMadness.

Magic summed it up with one word: "WOW!!!!!!!"

And LeBron tweeted that he knew Suggs would make that shot.

"I said SUGGS about to hit this as soon as he crossed half court. GAME!!"

In an NCAA Tournament full of upsets, there hadn't been a buzzer-beater before Saturday, so Suggs' shot quickly became the "shining moment" of the tourney.
