In The Loop: Lakers eliminated, Coach K announces retirement originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

First up in our look around the sports world, the Phoenix Suns sent the Los Angeles Lakers packing in the first round with a 113-100 win in Game 6. Devin Booker led the way with a playoff career-high 47 points, 11 rebounds, and eight made 3-pointers.

This is the first time in LeBron James’ career that he’s been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, previously being 14-0.
