In The Loop: Drake FaceTimes Kyle Lowry, Ducks arrive in retro threads originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
First up in our look around the sports world, following the Toronto Raptors' 135-111 win over the Denver Nuggets, Kyle Lowry -- who at the time thought he might have just played his last game with the franchise -- headed to the post-game press conference.
During the presser, Lowry got a FaceTime from long-time Toronto fan and rapper Drake who announced to the media that he was calling in to be Lowry's translator. In the end, Lowry stayed in Toronto after the NBA's trade deadline Thursday afternoon passed so no goodbyes necessary yet.
Next up, the Anaheim Ducks might have been losers in six of their last seven games but their certainly winners in the style department. Check out the guys arriving to the arena in their sweet retro threads.
Lastly, who knew NHL mascots had beef? The New Jersey Devils mascot is calling Gritty out publicly with this video saying the Philadelphia Flyers mascot looks like a mop! Ouch, where is the respect?!
