Today marks the day the Royal Family bids farewell to Britain's longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Those at the funeral include the current sovereign, King Charles III, as well as Prince William and Prince George, the second and third-in-line to the throne. They are joined by other members of 'The Firm' as well as world leaders such as US President Joe Biden and New Zealand's PM, Jacinda Arden.

Kate Middleton – the newly-appointed Princess of Wales – is also at the service, joined by her daughter, Princess Charlotte. But, noticeably missing from those paying their respects to Her Majesty is Prince Louis.

"As parents [Prince William and Kate Middleton] have, of course, thought long and hard about whether their children should accompany them," a royal source told the MailOnline last week. "Of course little Louis is too young, but they think George and Charlotte are up to it."

Following his many memorable performances during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee earlier this year, royal fans expected to see the four-year-old amongst those at today's service. Instead, they have been left wondering who is looking after the little royal as the rest of his family pay tribute to Her Majesty.

Who is looking after Prince Louis during the Queen's funeral?

Although there's been no official word as to who's on babysitting duty today, we can assume that Prince Louis is being looking after by the family's nannyMaria Borrallo.

For those not in the know, Spanish-born Borrallo has worked – and lived – with the Wales family since 2014, when Prince George (who's now nine) was just eight months old. Being a live-in nanny means Borrallo has been on-hand 24/7 during her time with the royals, however that recently changed somewhat when the family moved from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage. The property, which sits on the Windsor estate, is too small for the Wales' support staff to live-in, as such, Borrallo now lives nearby with the family's housekeeper and chef.

Before joining the family, Borrallo studied at the prestigious Norland College in Bath, and has "worked for other high-profile families" according to an insider who spoke to HELLO!. In fact, it was her experience as a nanny for other families that caught Kate and William's attention. "It was from there that the Cambridges heard of her and hired her," the source added.

Our thoughts are with all those mourning Her Majesty at this emotional time.
