Chicago Bears training camp is underway at Halas Hall, as veterans and rookies are now on campus and participating in a slow acclimation to the summer's practices because of the protocols in place to combat COVID-19.
The biggest storyline for this year's training camp will be the quarterback competition between Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles, both of whom sounded confident and ready to roll during their Zoom call with reporters on Friday.
The start of training camp is always an exciting time for a fanbase that's starved for some football highlights.
The Bears' social media team gave fans their first glimpse of Trubisky and Foles throwing passes to teammates, along with rookie Cole Kmet, Anthony Miller, Jaylon Johnson and Roquan Smith, on Instagram on Friday. Check it out:
All Bears players are sporting masks as part of their coronavirus plan. The team's first padded practice can take place on August 17, at the earliest.
