Longtime Washington Mystics forward Tianna Hawkins is officially leaving the nation's capital, as the Atlanta Dream have announced her addition in free agency.

Hawkins and the Dream agreed to a two-year deal, though the contract details were not released. Hawkins was drafted out of the University of Maryland in 2013 by Seattle, and then played in Washington from 2014-2020.

She averaged 8.5 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game in 2020.

Hawkins helped the Mystics win the 2019 WNBA Championship, and she followed up her performance with a career-high in minutes per game in 2020. The forward will turn 30 years old next month, and she now joins a team that finished 7-15 last season.
