"You know, he's one of our faster players on the whole team and really encouraged by his progress. He's a guy I identified through fall camp that I really thought had did some good things in the spring, had a good summer, did some good things in fall camp. So wasn't consistent once we started playing and then he got a chance to play because of some injuries. He's a guy that's got really good speed and made some catches and did some things with the ball after he caught it. Good job on that." - Head coach Tom Allen on wide receiver Taysir Mack.

"I think coming in knowing you're the guy - I didn't change anything preparation wise, but it's easier to get in a rhythm. At practice every day, you get all the reps - you might not be getting certain plays in practice. It helped me get in a rhythm and get comfortable." - quarterback Peyton Ramsey on the advantage he got by knowing he was the starter early this week.

"Yes it was definitely a breakthrough moment. Just my first time being able to showcase what I can do. I wouldn't have been able to do it though without the other guys - the o-line, Peyton. Phenomenal job. Every day in practice being able to push each other. We have a standard here, whoever drops the most passes has to carry in all the helmets. The first day, I dropped the most passes and had to carry all the helmets. But they pushed me, the coaches believed in me and they knew we could get it done, and the biggest thing was Peyton believed in me. I appreciate the coaches and everyone who supports us." - wide receiver Taysir Mack on his breakthrough performance today.

"The shutout was our No. 1 goal. We talked a lot this week about dominating - that was our one word, dominate. The shutout was huge. It hasn't been done since '93, which we take a lot of pride in that. That's awesome. That was the No. 1 goal. The yardage thing, we gave up some plays here and there so we need to be better at that, but the shutout was awesome." - defensive lineman Jacob Robinson on getting a shutout.
