Lions place RB Craig Reynolds on IR

The Detroit Lions have lost the services of running back Craig Reynolds for a few weeks. Reynolds was placed on the injured reserve list on Wednesday.

The reserve running back suffered a chest injury during the Week 9 win over the Green Bay Packers and left the game early. Reynolds will now miss at least the next three games with a rib injury. Justin Jackson took his place in the RB rotation and figures to maintain that role.

The move to place Reynolds on IR freed up the roster space used to sign WR Trinity Benson from the Broncos practice squad.

The Lions also signed Stanley Berryhill to the practice squad after releasing him from the active roster earlier this week.
