Some notable news came out of Detroit on Saturday, as the Lions placed starting QB Matthew Stafford on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Players that land on the list are those who either tested positive for the coronavirus or came in close contact with someone who did. Per NFL-NFLPA policy, teams do not comment on a players' medical status. In order to be activated, players must receive medical clearance, so there is no set timetable for their absences.
Stafford missed the final eight games of the 2019 season with a back injury. He's the eighth Lions player to land on the list.
Detroit reported to camp earlier this week.
