Lindsay Lohan Is Here to Be Your Millennial Gwyneth Paltrow

Lohan is asking for 36 of your dollars per year.

The past year has been a somewhat trying one for Lindsay Lohan fanatics. The attention the actress has received has been mostly focused on the dramatic breakup with her former fiancé, her foray into the nightlife scene (oh, you haven’t booked your tickets to visit Lohan Nightclub yet?), and her bizarre new accent.

But things are turning a corner, you guys. Not only does Lohan have a promising new television role lined up (replete with Ron Weasley-adjacency and a dynamite new wig), she is also launching a Goop of her own. Yes, La Lohan is venturing in to the world of lifestyle blogs.

Lohan announced on her social media platforms on Tuesday that she is starting a site called “Preemium,” which will offer fans “personal diaries, video updates, exclusive personal photos, breaking news, fashion and beauty tutorials, shopping guides, behind the scenes content . . . and much more.” As part of the launch, she says she has deleted all of her posts from Instagram (this is a “period of renewal,” she explains), though it appears she has kept up 39 of them, but to each her own (renewal), we suppose.

The cost to gain access to all this content? A cool $2.99 per month. A small price to pay, though, for . . . uh, behind-the-scenes shots of her posing next to a male model and some photos from her trip to Turkey, so far. She writes, “I will give you access to all my exclusive content and tell you all my secrets and breaking news before anyone else.”

While we launch a Kickstarter to raise funds for a year-long subscription to Preemium, we have some questions.

1) Preemium, Linds?!?!? That’s the name you’re going to go with!? There are so many options you could have picked—La Vida Lohan, for one, The LiLo Down for another—and this is what the final verdict was? A word that you can’t read without immediately envisioning that red Microsoft Word spell-check squiggle underneath it?

2) When is the tutorial on how to achieve that accent going to be unveiled?! Honestly, we would have led with that on day one for maximum sign-ups.

3) We want to know all the secrets!!! Please! Dish! We’re paying $36 a year for this; we want what the story was with that infamous list of yours, to get things started.

4) This is not a question, but we just pray this leads to some sort of panel discussion where Paltrow, Blake Lively (of the gone-too-soon Preserve), Lauren Conrad, and Lohan discuss the ups, downs, and in-betweens of personal website development.
