From Veranda

The biggest and brightest stars in television turned heads at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards with their high-style backdrops and breathtaking homes. Yes, that's right—we're talking about the interiors.

As with many other events in the odd era of coronavirus, the Emmy Awards were held virtually from 140 different locations, including Los Angeles's Staples Center where host Jimmy Kimmel emceed from. This year, instead of the traditional red carpet, we were granted glimpses into the home's of the Hollywood elite. And, we were with plenty of design envy (hello, Jennifer Aniston's bookcase!).

From Alex Borstein's iconic rooftop setup to the Zendaya's family-filled living room, these are the stunning interiors we can't stop thinking about from this year's Emmys.

The Succession of Patterns

Succession creator Jesse Armstrong's enthusiastically patterned home sparked quite the debate between viewers, but something about the pair of floral sofas drew us in. Maybe it's the fabric’s powder blue shade or the bubble-like feet? Either way, we're smitten.

Zendaya's Supreme Moment

The youngest person to win for "Lead Actress in a Drama Series," Zendaya proved herself to be the style maven of the decade with her sparkling number and voguish living room. The Euphoria star's family and team celebrated her win from curvaceous sofas surround by airy drapery. And who could overlook the nod to Motown supergroup, The Supremes, on the wall?

Jennifer Aniston's Curated Bookcase

It was a joyful reunion at Jennifer Aniston's home as co-stars Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow joined The Morning Show actress on screen. However, we couldn't help but keep getting distracted by the perfectly organized, chocolate bookcase in the background.

Alex Borstein's Rooftop Bed

Donning a fabulous bl0nde wig with cocktail and dog in hand, Alex Borstein stole the show lounging on a wrought iron, four-poster bed on the rooftop of her home. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star topped off the look with velvet pink pillows and bountiful floral bouquets.

The Floral Wall at the Schitt's Creek Party

While technically not an interior per se, the white floral wall at the Schitt's Creek party left us stunned. Some of the nominated actors and crew members gathered to celebrate in person (adhering to Ontario’s COVID-19 guidelines) at a quaint event space surrounded by fragant ivory blooms and lively tablescapes. The beloved show swept the top comedy categories, taking home eight awards, including "Outstanding Comedy Series."
