Leicester City will look to move one step closer to securing Champions League qualification tonight when they welcome Crystal Palace to the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

The Foxes are in a promising position to finish in the top four and would move seven points clear of fifth-placed West Ham United with a win against Palace.

But Brendan Rodgers’ side will be desperate to add more points to their tally while they can, with a run-in of matches against Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to come in their final three fixtures of the season.

Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace are ideal opponents in that regard, with the Eagles 13th in the table and their Premier League status seemingly secure for another season. Palace’s last match in the Premier League was two weeks ago when they were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea at Selhurst Park.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match tonight.

When is it?

The match will kick-off at 8pm BST on Monday 26 April.

How can I watch?

It will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League, with coverage starting at 7pm. If you’re not a Sky customer you can grab a NOWTV Day Pass here to watch without a subscription.

What is the team news?

Leicester’s injury report looks a lot less significant that it did a few weeks ago, with James Maddison back fit following his hip problem. Harvey Barnes remains out for the Foxes but could return before the end of the season.

Crystal Palace defender Gary Cahill is a doubt having missed training with a minor injury problem this week, but manager Hodgson was hopeful he will be in contention. Hodgson also confirmed that Jeffrey Schlupp and long-term absentees James Tomkins and Mamadou Sakho have returned to training, but it may be too soon for them to return to action on Monday.

Possible line-ups

Leicester: Schmeichel; Fofana, Evans, Soyuncu; Castagne, Ndidi, Tielemans, Pereira; Maddison, Iheanacho, Vardy

Crystal Palace: Guaita; Ward, Kouyate, Cahill, Van Aanholt; Ayew, Milivojevic, Riedewald, Eze; Zaha, Benteke

Odds

Leicester: 4/9

Draw: 16/5

Crystal Palace: 7/1

Prediction

This is as favourable a fixture that Leicester could ask for at this point in the season. The Foxes are in good form after their FA Cup semi-final over Southampton and 3-0 win over West Brom in midweek, and they will fancy themselves to keep that run going with a win over Crystal Palace. Leicester 2-0 Crystal Palace
