Legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully back at home after hospital stay
Legendary Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully is back home after a quick hospital stay last week following a fall. The team released a statement from Scully, 92, on Twitter.
An update from Vin Scully:

The sendoff is a phrase announced before Dodgers games. Scully called the team’s games for 67 years beginning in 1950 when the they were located in Brooklyn. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982 and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016, the same year he retired.
Scully fell at his home on Tuesday and joked about the incident, saying he “won’t be doing anymore headfirst sliding, I never liked it.”
