All NBA eyes were on Kobe Bryant and the City of Los Angeles on Monday night as the Los Angeles Lakers raised both of Kobe’s jerseys to the rafters of Staples Center. Many of the league’s biggest names — past and present — sent congratulations to Kobe, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Shaquille O’Neal and Bill Russell.

Congrats to the legend! Your career will never be matched. Thank you for inspiration. #ko8e24
