LeBron James has already landed “Space Jam 2,” an HBO talk show and plenty of other media productions since he moved to the Los Angeles Lakers last summer. Now, he’s getting into the storied business of boxing documentaries.
James and his business partner Maverick Carter will serve as executive producers for “40 Days,” a joint production between their Uninterrupted platform and DAZN covering the run-up to the middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs on May 4.

According to TMZ, Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Productions will also be involved.
"These documentaries will shine a light on the 3-dimensional aspect of who these athletes are outside of the ring and empower them to tell their own stories as they prepare for some of the biggest moments in their boxing careers," Carter said in a statement released to TMZ.
