After posting a rare 5-of-21 shooting night against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2021-22 season opener on Tuesday, it didn’t take long for Steph Curry to get going on Thursday with the Los Angeles Clippers in town.

In front of a full capacity fanbase in the home opener at San Francisco’s Chase Center, the two-time Most Valuable Player put on a show in the first quarter.

Curry tallied 25 points on a perfect 9-of-9 shooting from the field. The seven-time All-Star caught fire from long-distance, drilling five triples on five attempts from beyond the arc. Curry added a pair of boards and one assist in the opening 12 minutes of the contest.

Curry’s explosion helped push the Warriors to a commanding 44-27 lead before the start of the second frame.

After the first-quarter buzzer, multiple players from around the association took to social media to react to Curry’s fiery first-quarter performance against the Clippers. LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Ja Morant and others chimed in on Twitter with responses to Curry’s fast start.

Below is a look at some of the reactions from around the league.
