Let’s get you caught up on the latest internet feud. Fox TV host Laura Ingraham insulted Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg on Twitter. She said he was “whining” about not getting into some colleges, including UCLA, despite his 4.1 GPA.

Hogg responded with a list of Ingraham’s advertisers for her show, The Ingraham Angle, calling for boycotts, which resulted in several of the sponsors dropping out.

Ingraham then apologized on Twitter writing, “On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland.”

This rubbed people the wrong way. Many felt it was wrong of the TV host to use religion in her apology and only after advertisers starting dropping her show.

Ken wrote, “good thing it was easter or Laura Ingraham would have kept mocking teenage victims of violence all week.”Johnathon wrote, “her advertisers, the spirit of Holy Week, are giving her up for Lent.”Ann wrote, “it appears that you are saying it’s ok to be a cyber bully, except during Holy Week. Is that what Jesus would do?”And finally, Eugene wrote, “on reflection, in light of all my advertisers leaving my show, I will make a fake apology and exploit the spirit of Holy Week, using religion to cover my hypocrisy.”

Ingraham has not spoken about the controversy since issuing her apology yesterday. Hogg on the other hand tweeted out an article outlining her “35 year history of vicious behavior” with the hashtag, boycott Ingraham adverts
