After latest Top247 recruiting update, where does Oklahoma vs. the SEC in team recruiting rankings?

·5 min read

In the latest Top247 update from 247Sports, several Oklahoma Sooners saw their stock rise, including quarterback Jackson Arnold receiving his fifth star and moving into the top 15 overall players for the class of 2022. Additionally, center Joshua Bates earned four-star status.

After the update, and with the commitment of linebacker Lewis Carter, the Oklahoma Sooners saw a slight bump to No. 9 overall in the 247Sports composite team recruiting rankings.

Given how this class will be the corp that leads the Oklahoma Sooners into the SEC, it’s prudent to follow how this recruiting class stacks up against their future opponents in the SEC.

Let’s take a look at how things stand as of July 22, a little over a month out from the start of the 2022 college football season.
