Here's the latest buzz surrounding the Nets on NBA trade deadline day...

4:27 p.m.

NBA teams expressed interest in Spencer Dinwiddie leading up to Thursday's 3 p.m. deadline, as SNY's Ian Begley noted last Thursday and Feb. 27, but the Nets ultimately did not move the injured guard, Hoops Hype's Michael Scotto reported at 3:11 p.m.

Dinwiddie, who has been recovering from a partially torn ACL in his right knee since Dec. 27, took to Twitter at 3:14 p.m. and the news.

The 27-year-old Dinwiddie published a cryptic tweet at 12:02 p.m. and appeared to acknowledge possibly getting traded, saying in the tweet, "3hrs," and adding a tear-face emoji.

More than an hour later, at 1:21 p.m., Dinwiddie took to Instagram with a video of his ongoing rehab process. He jogged and backpedaled.

After the deadline, Dinwiddie retweeted a tweet from the New York Post's Brian Lewis, which said, "Spencer Dinwiddie is presumably safe in Brooklyn."

In the second of a three-year contract worth more than $34 million, Dinwiddie -- who has been with Brooklyn since 2016 -- can become a free agent after this season if he declines his 2021-22 player option.

JaVale McGee, who SNY's Ian Begley said was on the Nets' radar as a potential addition at center, has been traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Denver Nuggets.

Brooklyn has shown strong interest in Pistons C Andre Drummond, who both the Nets and Los Angeles Lakers are favorites to land if he reaches a buyout with Cleveland. But McGee was the alternate if they lose out on Drummond.

With McGee out of the picture now, it appears to be Drummond or no one at the moment.
