Larry Fitzgerald drained a hole in one while golfing with Barack Obama

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will eventually make it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but his best sports accomplishment may have come on a golf course. On Friday, Fitzgerald did something we’re not sure anyone else has done on a golf course. He nailed a hole in one … while playing golf with Barack Obama.

Golf Channel’s Tim Rosaforte shared the story of Fitzgerald’s hole in one on his Twitter page.

Rosaforte says the 13th hole at Seminole GC is among the “hardest 18th handicap holes you could find in golf.”

For his efforts, Fitzgerald got a high five from Obama … and a story to share for the rest of his life.

Fitzgerald is a pretty big fan of golf. He’s hit the golf course with Tiger Woods, and roots pretty passionately for Woods during tour events.

Given all that, what do you think Fitzgerald would claim as his greatest sporting accomplishment? Is it the 11 Pro Bowls, 1,303 receptions and 116 touchdowns that will eventually get him into the Hall? Or a hole in one in front of one of the presidents?
