Advice and prediction

The Lakers have struggled mightily head-to-head versus the Clippers over the last 10 years, and it seems reasonable to expect them to lose again on Wednesday.

However, Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers’ best player, will be out, and they are only 6-5.

These are arguably the two worst offensive teams in the NBA right now, but the Lakers have been trending upward in that category over their last five games. They’ve scored fewer than 116 points only once in that span.

We’re going to go against the grain here, as this is an opportunity for the Purple and Gold to get back on track versus the short-handed Clippers.

Prediction: Lakers 108, Clippers 103
