Lakers' Anthony Davis explains why he’s a Packers fan

Lakers forward and Chicago native Anthony Davis shocked the world last weekend when he was repping Green Bay at the Packers-Seahawks playoff game at Lambeau.

Davis admits he was never a huge football fan growing up and chose to root for the Packers because he knew some friends on the team. Valid reasons (I guess?) and we can't hold it against him (except that we totally will). Davis does go onto say that his father isn't thrilled with his choice of NFL teams. Can you blame him?

Davis throws a bit of shade towards the Bears, referencing their less-than-stellar 2019 season. Ouch. Maybe Davis could make it up to the city of Chicago if he returns home next season in black and red at the United Center.
