Lakers 10-game road win-streak is a great sign for their repeat hopes

The Los Angeles Lakers have started their title defense by going 10-0 on the road to begin the season. With it being understood that the road is a little different than it used to be, LeBron James and the Lakers have been racking up wins, even in markets like Memphis, Houston, and Cleveland, who have fans in the stands. The 10-0 start is not only a great sign of dominance this season, but it’s also historically a good sign that the Lakers will return to the NBA Finals.

According to the crack researchers at ESPN’s Stats and Info, the Lakers became just the 6th team in NBA history to start 10-0 on the road, with four of the five previous teams who have done that going to the NBA Finals that same season.

After his 46 point performance, last night in Cleveland, LeBron’s MVP play in his 18th season is rightfully the big story. But his team is now playing with some new levels of dominance, as the Lakers are clicking as well as any LeBron team has before in his 18-year career as well.
