For the record: For two programs that have never met before, this game certainly has a lot of ties between the two teams, such as Lake QB Frankie Trinetti previously being a ballboy at South and the father of Rebels' QB Liam Coyne previously playing for the Cougars. ... Lake Catholic has won two in a row since a season-opening loss to Cardinal Mooney. A win here would be nice with undefeated Kenston on the docket in Week 5. Trinetti has thrown for 898 yards through three weeks, with a fine stable of receivers around him in Cross Nimmo, Ace Peterlin and D.J. Sears. Rugged RB Josh Styles has run well the past two weeks as well. ... Coyne threw for more than 300 yards last week in South's last-second win over Brush. Delond Moss, who leads the area with 22 receptions, had five touchdown catches against the Arcs. Pass defense will be a big key for Lake's defense in this one.
