Lady Vols win 500th game at Thompson-Boling Arena

Tennessee reached a program milestone Sunday, winning its 500th game at Thompson-Boling Arena.

The venue opened in 1987.

Tennessee (10-6, 2-0 SEC) defeated Alabama (12-3, 1-1 SEC), 89-76 in its first conference game of the season.

Tennessee did not trail in the contest.

Rickea Jackson did not start and led the Lady Vols with 22 points. She was 10-for-14 from the field and recorded seven rebounds.

Tess Darby totaled 16 points, scoring 13 in the first half. Jordan Walker finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Jillian Hollingshead recorded 15 points and six rebounds for Tennessee.

Jordan Horston totaled nine points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Lady Vols.

Megan Abrams recorded a game-high 24 points for the Crimson Tide.
